This Year, Volunteer

One of the central themes of Holiday Extravaganza is ‘making a difference.’ What better way to embody that theme than by participating as a volunteer at this year’s Holiday Extravaganza WinterFUN fest?

The elves are looking for people who have exceptional holiday spirit to participate in this years event.

They are looking for people to fill one of three positions:

  • Elf Assistant at the Kids Craft station from 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.. Requirements: Must love glitter, glue, and sugar!
  • Parade Marshal to help keep people on the sidewalks during the parade from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.. Requirements: Loud singing voice and plenty of holiday cheer.
  • Professional costume dress up from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.. Requirements: Must love to move their feet and have all the attention.

The elves are a silly bunch, but sure do know how to put on a good time. And rumor has it Santa will be making his yearly appearance, which means they will need extra help in making sure everything goes smoothly.

You may even find a little elf gift in your bag on your way out.

If you or someone you know wants to make a difference in the 38th Annual Holiday Extravaganza reach out to holidayextravaganza@genisyscu.org for the application or more information!
